The England football team were taken on a secret football bootcamp training session with the Royal Marines in Devon. And boy did it look tough!

In the build-up to Saturday’s World Cup qualifier at Hampden Park, England manager Southgate and his team spent 48 hours on a team bonding session in Devon with the Royal Marines.

The squad had their mobile phones taken off them and dressed in military training uniforms during last weekend’s trip, which included a night camping on Woodbury Common.

Players and staff also had to complete a four-mile hike with 21 kilos on their backs and undertook underwater exercises.
